FAQ

So why are you doing this?

Were Christians. God is love, and we want to show that in some way. Its our pleasure and privilege to serve, and we hope that this brings you closer to God.

How many people do you feed each week?

As of January 2016, we have about 65 guests weekly on average.

When did this outreach start?

In May of 2011, we got permission from San Jose State University to have the outreach on the back patio of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library.* Our first outreach was the first Saturday in June.

We started with one outreach a month, making about twenty-four sandwiches. We received a lot of support, and quickly grew to bi-monthly outreaches, then, in October 2012, to weekly outreaches. We currently serve about 65 guests each week, often offering additional resources like Bibles in four languages, soup, underwear, socks, hygiene kits, and sometimes sleeping bags and tents.

Praise God!

Do I have to be homeless to get a sandwich?
